About This Role

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Rural area. Office of health care professional. Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Tasks: Assist health care professionals. Set up and dismantle equipment. Clean and maintain equipment. Lay out surgical instruments. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies. Reassemble equipment and assemble packs of sterile supplies and instruments for delivery to hospital departments. Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use according to standardized safety practices. Maintain inventory of equipment. Process files and paperwork. Order supplies and equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Office. MS Outlook.
