Retail Store Supervisor

About This Role

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Asset languages: Hindi. Urdu. Panjabi; Punjabi. Work setting: Urban area. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.). Assign sales workers to duties. Establish work schedules. Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Organize and maintain inventory. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers. Train or arrange for training. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Recommend personnel actions. Prepare and submit reports. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Recommend measures to improve productivity . Supervision: 3-4 people. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Outlook. Area of specialization: Retail store. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation.
