About This Role

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Clear fields of wood and stones. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Fertilize and spray crops. Harvest crops. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Maintain work records and logs. Equipment and machinery experience: Tractor. Forage equipment. Haying equipment. Manure spreader. Swather. Tillage equipment. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is not available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Team player. Flexibility. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Employment terms options: Day.
