About This Role

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Agriculture, fishing and/or forestry. Budgetary responsibility: $4,000,001 - $8,000,000. Tasks: Assign projects and programs to the purchasing and warehouse departments across the organization. Coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling and distributing materials, equipment, machinery and supplies. Plan, develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures. Authorize the development of specifications for products or services. Manage contracts. Review and process claims against suppliers. Advise senior management. Lead sales team in building relationships with business clients and manage negotiations of sales contracts. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Outlook. MS Word. Area of work experience: Purchasing, procurement and contracts. Product development. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence.
