Measure and mark sheet metal according to template. Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal. Cut materials using power tools or by hand. Assemble, erect and install hoisting and rigging equipment. Fit and join sheet metal parts. Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Operate hoisting and lifting equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Sheet Metal Worker Trade Certification. Specialization or experience: Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Handling heavy loads. Screening questions: Do you have experience working in this field?. Do you have the required certifications listed in the job posting?.
