Farm Supervisor

About This Role

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Tasks: Consider water saturation, light and temperature when planning for crop growth and development. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Perform general farm duties. Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control. Establish work schedules. Check and monitor product quality. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Supervision: 5-10 people. Type of product: Coniferous trees. Equipment and machinery experience: Automated irrigation system. Tractor. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication.
