About This Role

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Fruit and vegetable combination farming. Outdoors. At heights. Wet/damp. Dusty. Hot. Noisy. All weather conditions. Dirty. Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Clear fields of wood and stones. Cut agricultural crops. Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.. Pick row and orchard crops. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Shear and shape trees and plants with knife. Sort fruits and vegetables. Tie and secure plants. Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality. Weeding. Clean work area. Harvest crops. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Type of crops: Apples. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks.
