Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: At heights. Noisy. Outdoors. Work setting: Construction. Various locations. Renovation. Commercial. Level of expertise: Maintenance and repair. Tasks: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Supervise other workers. Estimate costs and materials. Supervision: 5-10 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Working at heights training. Employment terms options: Early morning. Evening. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Employment terms options: Morning. Day. Overtime available.

What You'll Do

• Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
