Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Assist in demolishing buildings. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Direct traffic at or near construction sites. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs). Personal suitability: Client focus. Team player. Hardworking. Experience: No experience (will train). Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth.
