Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Measure weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting. Perform pre-operational inspection. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Clean and lubricate cranes. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Operate cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas. Operate gantry cranes to load and unload ship cargo at port side. Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction. Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Assist in demolishing buildings. Operate dragline cranes to expose coal seams and ore deposits at open pit mines. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Employment terms options: Early morning. Evening. Shift. Flexible hours. Morning. Night. On call. To be determined. Day. Weekend. Overtime required. Overtime available.
