Restaurant Manager

About This Role

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Rural area. Willing to relocate. Restaurant and food service. Tasks: Monitor staff performance . Set staff work schedules. Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff. Maintain sales records for inventory control. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations. Supervision: 3-4 people. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads.
