Retail Store Supervisor

About This Role

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Rural area. Willing to relocate. On-site customer service. Gas bar. Tasks: Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.). Assign sales workers to duties. Hire and train or arrange for training of staff. Authorize return of merchandise. Sell merchandise. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Organize and maintain inventory. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers. Manage cash. Supervise office and volunteer staff. Supervision: 5-10 people. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Outlook. Security and safety: Bondable. Basic security clearance. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Own vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Walking. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Employment terms options: Early morning. Evening. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Employment terms options: Morning. On call. Day. Weekend. Overtime required.
